If you live anywhere near Chicagoland like I do, you’d probably agree that late winter is not the Midwest’s prettiest season. When I think of February and March, I picture dead grass, dirty snow, bare trees, and gray skies. This time of year can also bring extreme, fluctuating temperatures that seem to make everyone sick (and February 2025 has not disappointed in that regard). I’m sure I’m not the only one who tells her out-of-town friends and family to delay visits to Chicagoland until May.
