At last, spring is officially here! What do you love best about springtime? The lingering sunlight? Spring break? I enjoy seeing buds poking timidly out of the soil, and watching as they emerge and spread their leaves with more confidence each day. It’s encouraging to remember that these same little seedlings have been in the very same spots all winter long. They’ve just been hibernating. Beauty has a way of enduring even the coldest and toughest of seasons.
It’s hard to notice moments of beauty when you’re facing an unexpected pregnancy. And yet, they sometimes appear in surprising places. Maybe one such moment for you has been receiving a hug from someone you’d thought would be mad about your pregnancy, or finding a bit of insight that led to a more confident next step. The unexpected pregnancy journey is filled with challenges- to be sure. But just as flowers grow in spring, positive outcomes are possible. A hopeful outcome is possible for you too, no matter what you’re facing or where your path leads.
Avenue Women’s Center exists to help women coping with circumstances like yours reach their own best outcomes one small step at a time. We provide confidential early pregnancy services at no cost, because we believe that nobody should have to face an unexpected pregnancy without all the resources she needs to step into a confident future.
