If you’re facing an unexpected pregnancy today, this may be one of the greatest challenges you’ve ever come across. But what if you’re pregnant with more than one? Without a doubt, circumstances like these can push a person to the very limits of what she feels she can endure. Perhaps you recently found out that you’re pregnant with twins, triplets, or more, and you’re struggling to even process this news. Maybe you feel like you don’t have the resources- emotional or practical- to carry on, let alone reach a pregnancy outcome you feel good about. You’re not alone in that difficult space.
Avenue Women’s Center exists to meet persons under the most shocking and painful circumstances surrounding an unexpected pregnancy. We’ve been offering free pregnancy support since 1981, and we’d love to partner with you too. Our no-cost early pregnancy services include medical-grade pregnancy tests, limited medical ultrasounds, pregnancy consultations, and more.
Reach out to learn more about Avenue Women’s Center! You have full autonomy over your pregnancy choice. It’s our role to listen, encourage, and educate with accurate information and a posture of genuine care.
Facing a Pregnancy Decision When the Odds Feel Overwhelming
If you’re leaning toward abortion because you’re pregnant with more than one, chances are, you’re scared and overwhelmed. You’re confronting what may be a very difficult decision- the choice to end the pregnancy, create an adoption plan, or parent. Every person has a unique response to unexpected pregnancy circumstances. No two perspectives are the same. But as you consider your options, you may discover that your own possible outcomes hold added significance because you’re carrying more. Maybe you’re considering abortion because parenting two or creating an adoption plan for two seems beyond what you can handle.
It may be an important part of your decision-making process to recognize that any of your pregnancy outcomes could be especially impactful due to your unique situation. Does that mean you’re less equipped to boldly face what’s ahead? Of course not. You’re fully capable of standing up to your fear and discovering an outcome you feel at peace with, no matter how overwhelming your circumstances may be. Perhaps you feel at peace with having an abortion. But if you don’t, or you haven’t looked into the alternatives, it may be useful and enlightening to explore your other options.
Early Pregnancy Services that Prioritize Your Health
At Avenue Women’s Center, it’s our mission to equip you for an informed, confident pregnancy decision, regardless of the obstacles you’re facing. Every person deserves to make this choice with a full understanding of her available opportunities and resources. That’s why our caring team provides accurate information on all pregnancy options with neutral and approachable language. Avenue’s free services, like our lab-quality pregnancy tests and limited medical ultrasounds, are meant to offer clarity. For example, a scan can provide useful information like, 1) how far along you are (to help determine which abortion methods are safe at this stage), 2) where the pregnancy is located (an ectopic pregnancy- located outside of the uterus- would require immediate medical attention), and 3) your chances of miscarriage. Our limited medical ultrasounds at Avenue are provided by a dedicated team of licensed professionals.
Your situation may feel very surreal. You’re facing circumstances that are sensitive, personal, and possibly loaded with complex emotions. The choice of where to seek support is yours entirely- just like your pregnancy decision. Know that Avenue Women’s Center is a safe space to voice your thoughts and feelings, and receive real help.
Learn more about Avenue! Our expert staff is available to meet your needs with empathy and integrity, never judgment. Your wellness is truly our top priority.
