How to Get Planned Parenthood Services for Free

Did you recently find out you are unexpectedly pregnant? Feeling overwhelmed, panicked, and a sense of urgency to make a decision right away is normal.

As you search online, you may be wondering which services are free and how to access them. If that’s the case, we can help! While organizations like Planned Parenthood may charge for their services, we provide free pregnancy services to help in the decision-making process.

How to Get Planned Parenthood Services for Free

You may be surprised to learn that Planned Parenthood doesn’t provide free services. Like many other nonprofits, they do charge for their services, including ultrasounds, STD testing, and abortion procedures.

We exist to help women as they consider all their options and provide services and information so you can make a fully-educated and empowered choice. Here are a few services we offer at no cost to you:

Free Pregnancy Tests

Your at-home pregnancy test may have come back positive, but we can confirm your result with a lab-quality pregnancy test, so you know for sure. We offer no-cost pregnancy test services to give you the most accurate result, and our expert staff can answer any questions you may have.

Many women get a false negative or false positive pregnancy test result by taking it too early. For this reason, it’s a good idea to confirm with a lab-quality test, ten days after the possible conception date. The best part? We offer this completely free of charge!

Free Limited Ultrasounds

After a positive pregnancy test, your next step is to get an ultrasound. Some health practitioners and providers may not offer ultrasounds until later in the pregnancy. But we know you need answers as soon as possible, so we offer them early in the pregnancy … for free.

An ultrasound reveals important information:

  • How far along you are
  • Where the pregnancy is located
  • If the pregnancy is viable (likely to continue on its own)

All of these data points will determine not only what kind of abortion procedure you can choose, but also reveal important information about your own health and wellbeing. For example, if the pregnancy is located outside of your uterus, you’ll need to seek medical attention immediately for this serious condition.

Free Information on All Your Options

While you can find information online, it’s helpful to hear from a real person who can listen to your concerns and provide helpful answers. Our caring staff offer information and resources in a judgment-free environment so you make the best decision possible for you.
