Chances Are, You’ve Got a Lot on Your Plate!
Are you facing an unexpected pregnancy this fall? If so, you’re probably feeling a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps you’re a student, trying to adjust to new classes, new teachers, a new routine…maybe even a new school! Depending on how long you’ve been pregnant, you may need to manage pregnancy symptoms during the school day. And then there’s the question of whether or not to share your pregnancy news. Many women in situations like yours are worried that their peers will judge them or gossip about them, especially if the pregnancy begins to show. On the other hand, you may be a mom with school-aged kids and a never-ending to-do list. Whether you’re a student or the parent of a student, it’s hard to balance that flurry of back-to-school activities and scheduling changes with the everyday demands of pregnancy. And you may or may not have a supportive partner to help you persevere!
A First-Step Pregnancy Center Can Offer the Information You Need
With all of this going on, it can be really challenging to make a pregnancy decision with confidence. That’s why Avenue Women’s Center offers early pregnancy services that are free, easy to schedule, and provided by caring professionals. It’s always wise to begin with a reliable pregnancy test. Our no-cost lab-quality pregnancy tests at Avenue are accurate just ten days after possible conception! We also offer limited medical ultrasounds, which provide information that’s important to know before making a pregnancy decision. An ultrasound can date your pregnancy (to determine which options you’re eligible for), identify the health of your pregnancy, and assess for pregnancy risks with your safety in mind.
