Can I walk in without an appointment?
As a teenager, life can be complicated! There’s the busyness of school, sports, and hanging out with friends. There can be friends who promise rides, but then fall through. And there are often parents asking a lot of questions. It can really pose a challenge when an appointment needs to be made. Isn’t it nice when you can just “walk in” somewhere instead of having to make an appointment? We believe Teen Pregnancy Centers should offer that freedom, as well! Here at Avenue Women’s Center, we understand that making an appointment in advance can be difficult, and we DO happily welcome walk ins at all of our locations!
Is there a reason I might want to phone or text first?
We want our locations to be as convenient and available to you as possible when you’re facing an unexpected pregnancy. Although we definitely welcome walk ins, it’s true that it may be best to call or text ahead. By calling ahead, we will save a time for you, minimizing any waiting when you arrive. Also, some of our offices vary with hours of operation. If you are able to call ahead, it might save you the hassle of a trip in a situation where our office isn’t open. We want to make sure that when you come to Avenue Women’s Center, you are served efficiently and with the best care possible!
How far in advance do I need to call or text?
Most days we can easily fit you in at the time that works best for you. Even if you call just 15 minutes before coming, that will be enough to reserve your time!
